Brian Joseph McNiff, Tenor
Brian McNiff is an internationally recognized tenor originally from Lowell Massachusetts. He is a former resident of Port St. Lucie,
and a graduate of Port St. Lucie High School. He is currently in his second year of Doctoral studies at the University of Arizona in Tucson
while studying voice under Grayson Hirst and Hugo Vera with a minor in choral conducting. He currently holds a Master of Music degree
from the University of Nevada, Reno, studying under Katharine DeBoer, and a Bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University.
His most recent endeavor was taking on the title role of Jacques Offenbach’s Les Contes d’Hoffmann at “Opera in the Ozarks” in Arkansas
and has also performed as Tamino in Mozart’s “Die Zauberflöte,” Kaspar in Menotti’s “Amahl and the Night Visitors,” Lord Tolloller in Gilbert
and Sullivan’s “Iolanthe,” and Nanki-Poo in G & S’s “The Mikado.” Other major roles include Hilaire in “Can-Can,” Charlie Brown in
“You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” and Arthur in “An Act of the Imagination.”
His solo concert credits include Lord Nelson Mass and Missa Celensius in C by Haydn, Messiah by Handel, The Seven Last Words of Christ by Dubois, Crucifixion by Stainer, and Beethoven’s 9th Symphony.
